Canadians are the most active online users in the world according to reports released by CIRA. They spend an average of 36.7 hours on the internet every month. This number is on the rise with many people relying on the internet to learn, get entertainment, meet new people, and shop among other activities.
Those who spend the most time online in Canada are people of 18 years and above.

Watching online TV shows. The CRTC reports that this number has significantly gone up from 1.5hrs per week in the year 2008 to 5.8 hours this year.
